Get out of the WOMB

Hello Wonderful Youth,

Am back to you…………..today we am relating our lives to a womb

The human womb (any womb for that matter) is a hollow body organ in females that protect a developing baby (foetus) from adversities of the harsh outside environment. All nourishment and oxygen gets to the baby through special vessels through the umbilical code which is also responsible for taking out the waste products from the developing baby. The moment the baby gets out of the foetus, it begins to cry…some say because it is scared of the world.

Are you in a womb (comfort zone), scared to get out and discover what the world has to offer? Let us look at what comfort zone is:

  • A comfort zone is a behavioural state within which a person operates in an anxiety-neutral condition, using a limited set of behaviours to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk (Wikipedia).
  • Successful people have realized that more than often they need to occasionally step out of their comfort zones and do what must be done.

Staying in a comfort zone will prevent you from doing what you are really capable of hence you will not become who you are really meant to be. Think of what you’d be if you had stayed in your mom’s womb for 12 years, now relate it to your life.

Of course, once you leave the comfort zone, you are exposed to much more risks, however, you are exposed so many more opportunities.

I wonder why the thrill of flying starts with the fear of falling. However, it is a common thing that we need to get rid of. “Feel the Fear and do it anyway!” Coach Phill

Remember that you can never discover new land unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. One thing you must understand is that once you leave your comfort zone and start stretching yourself, you can never go back to that mediocre life…you are a new specimen of excellence.

Get out of that situation now and the best way is to just take action towards excellence.

See you at the TOP.
